At the Keizer Karel College in Amstelveen five Technasium classes are currently working on the Viruskenner project. The students are learning about viruses, how they spread, and what people can do to prevent infections. By conducting research and coming up with creative solutions, the students are not only learning more about science and health, but also developing their skills in collaboration and presentation.
On Tuesday, March 10, the moment had arrived for the students to present their results. A project market was organized where all the groups could showcase their final products. Each group set up its own “booth” to present what they had been working on over the past few weeks.
The market provided a great opportunity for students to share their ideas with others. Visitors walked past the different booths, asked questions, and discovered the solutions and insights the students had developed. From informative posters to interactive presentations, each group found its own way to explain the topic of virus transmission in a clear and engaging way.
It was a successful afternoon in which hard work, creativity, and curiosity were central. We are proud of the effort shown by all the students and look forward to the next steps of the Viruskenner project!
